Make four, sew long ends together completely, then fat ribbed short ends half way up both ends. You should have a hole for the head. If adding the ribbon, count 7 holes down weave in and out 8 times in front and back.
Your done. Not you can choose to EW everything rather than Knit. Also if you want you cand leave off peg 60 and do everything the same you will just have the K1,P1,K1,P1,K1 the same on both ends.
What type of loom is this done on? A knitting board, Knifty Knitter, or Martha Stewart?
ReplyDeleteThis was done on a knifty knitter long loom, but I am sure you can transfer it to another kind of long loom. You can use the Boye long looms, you might could use a Martha Stewart if you can set up 60 pegs using the large pegs rather than the small. Hope this was helpful.
DeleteCould you tell me what size this poncho is? I would love to make them for my granddaughters, since poncho's are back in style. jadahlgr at yahoo dot com
