50 Loom Knitted Stuffed Animal Pattern Collection

For the past 3 months I have been working on this book, it will contain my old patterns from the past 4 years revamped, and about 20 new patterns. All of a total of 50 patterns. The book will also include some of my past special instructions on enlarging patterns, designing patterns, looms and yarns to use, how to make eyes, what kinds of fillings are optional, cleaning, and much more. It will be a 196 page book. Animals all but 2 patterns are done in the 24 peg loom format. Each pattern is rated in skill level as well. Photo tutorials for techniques and stitches so that you don't have to have video footage to make the animals. Older footage, if available, will be placed as links in the book in the "Video Index"

Right now the book is in editing and will be sold on Ravelry, CinDwood, and Amazon in PDF format. It will be sold in paperback on Amazon and CreateSpace. I plan on doing a special when the book is ready and in print to do 40 copies signed and come with a single animal that was made for the book for a special price. My tentative plan is for the book to be about $30 and for signature copies with animals $60. Please keep an eye on this post for when the book will be available.

Tighten cast on, sew up toe, tuck ends, make 2. To add tread simply add hot glue to the purled rows on the bottom of the bootie.  To make smaller for a baby, follow the pattern up to row 10, then move to row16, follow up to row20 and at row20 knit instead or EW. This should make a smaller bootie for a baby.

Draw string the foot and sew up the front of the leg. Stuff and make 2.

Essembling:
Sew head on, black section facing the same direction as the belly area. Then sew on the legs onto the purled line under the belly area. Then sew on the arms on the side at the very top of the body. Hot glue or sew in your white eyes in the black section, and you have your little mummy.

How to Loom Knit a Bat

Make two, sew to the back center of the bat starting with one end of the wing and sew from bottom to top of the body. I show to put the EW side faceing away from me when looking at the bat. It is only preference. After this take your pipe cleaner fold in half and send through the wings starting at the DSCOF and into the body all the way to the other DSCOF. This gives support for the wings to stay up and not flop over completely.

Sew up arm: Make 2: Sew on arms just under the top of the blue line on the body. Sewing them on the side, just under the blue blue zone makes it look like a strap.  Now take the pipe cleaner fold in half and wrap around the top of the head and sew or glue it one. Then Glue on your 2 or 1 eyes. For goggle area take scrap grey and a size G crochet hook and chain as much as it will take to go around each eye. Sew or glue your chain area on.
