How to Loom Knit Amigurumi Body and Head

Basic Amigurumi Pattern

Terms:

DSCO: Draw String Cast On

EW: E-Wrap

D: Decrease

DSCOF: Draw String Cast Off

COF: Cast Off

Note: areas in the parentheses are short rows.

Head: 15 or 12 pegs: Circular:

DSCO 15 or 12 pegs

Row 1-7: EW

Row 8: 15:EW3, (Work these 3 pegs for ears in short rows) EW6 (Repeat ear in next 3 pegs)

12: EW1, (work the next 2 or 3 pegs for ears in short rows) EW7 or 5 (Repeat ear in the next 2 or 3 pegs)

Row 9: EW

D by every other peg, toss bottom loop over top. DSCOF

Close up top of head, sew up ears, and stuff.

Body: 15 or 12 pegs: Circular:

DSCO 15 or 12 pegs

Row 1-3: EW

Row 4: 15: EW3, (leg: EW3 11rows) EW2 ( tail in next 2 pegs) EW2 (repeat leg in next 3 pegs)

12: EW1 (leg) EW1 (tail) EW1 (leg) EW1

Row 5-8: EW

Row 9: 15: EW3, (leg), EW6, (leg),

12: EW1 (leg) EW4, (leg) EW1

Row 10: EW

Sew up legs, close up bottom, stuff. Sew on head glue on eyes and you are done.
