  1. This elephant is just precious and reminds me very much of Babar, the elephant from children's books. Also, as one who uses "off-the-beaten-path" techniques to create items for the looms (I'm the creator of the drawstring cast on), I must tell you how special I think you are. You are one of my very favorite designers! Your projects are so innovative, unique and fresh! Keep up the good work!

    1. Well that is cool, with everything on the internet it is hard to know who came up with all the different techniques out there. Glad to know that info. :-) So glad you enjoy my designs, always nice to know things like that. I have plenty more designs that will be coming out this year. Thank you again for the comment!!!

  4. Im curious what changes you made to make the smaller elephant (assuming the one im making according to this pattern is the larger).

    1. None really it is just knit instead of an e-wrap which just makes it smaller.

  5. Did you use thinner thread or the same wool to sew up the elephant? :) It's so cute!

  7. Do you double strand the yarn or just a single strand? And what kind of yarn?

    1. 2 strands. If using bulky yarn, or 3 strands if you are using worsted.

  8. This is awesome! I tried it for the first time and it came out great! I turned my elephant head upside down though so the trunk pointed up for good luck to give as a baby shower present! I cant wait to make another one. Thanks so much!

  12. Hi there im a newbie at this and Im having trouble following, cause the lighting is not very good, it seems to be a bit dark and in parts of the video it dissapears up the top of the screen which makes it very hard to see. Is there any chance you could update with a clearer video? Im obsessed with elephants and would love to make a bunch of them for my collection. Thanks

  13. How many yards of yarn do you think you used? I have so many different lengths I'm wondering before I go buy more.

  14. Well your lighting on the video sucks. At some parts in the video the loom wasn't even in the camera frame. Maybe work on that! The elephant how ever was amazing and it looked so cute when u finished it. Love the pattern. Just work and your video skills and it would be even better.

  15. Hi. Can you advise me on how to make the trunk in an upward motion? That position brings luck to the owner. Your elephants are adorable!!
