How to Loom Knit a Whale

15peg or 12peg loom
looming hook
crochet hook
crafters needle
polyfil
super bulky yarn
2 rhinestones for eyes

Terms:
DSCO: Draw String Cast On
CO: Cast On
EW: E-Wrap
I: Increase
D: Decrease
WT: Wrap and Turn
BOLB: Bring Original Loops Back
COF: Cast Off

Body: 15 pegs: Circular:
DSCO 15 pegs
Row 1: EW11, WT, EW7, WT, EW6, WT, EW5, WT, EW4, WT, EW3, EW4, EW5, EW6, EW7, EW8, EW9, EW10, EW11, EW12
Row 2-14: EW
Row 15: EW7, D1 (move loop 8 to peg 7) This is your new starting point. EW14
Row 16: D1 EW1, EW10, D1 EW1 (12)
Row 17: D1 EW1, EW8, D1 EW1 (10)
Row 18: D1 EW1, EW6, D1 EW1 (8)
Row 19: D1 EW1, EW4, D1 EW1 (6)
Row 20: D1 EW1, EW2, D1 EW1 (4)
Row 21: EW4, I3 (Your Increase is an EW, see video for help)(7)

Sew up mouth, stuff, sew up tail.

Make 2 sew on middle sides of body lined up with mouth.

  1. Can you do this whale on youtube using the 12 peg loom? I watched the 15 peg loom one and I am not understanding to instructions for the 12 peg one. Maybe if you could do that on youtube it might help some? Thank you
