Mini Goat






This pattern is based on a solid colored goat, but example of size and shape in pictures above.
Also use larger goat video as a guide to help with trouble areas in creating this smaller version.

Mini Goat

Items:
12 peg loom
cord loom with 8 pegs
looming hook
crafters needle
crochet hook
2 skeins of yarn (White )
scrap yarn of Tan yarn
polyfil
2 eyes

Terms:
DSCO: Draw String Cast On
K: Knit
P: Purl
D: Decrease
WT: Wrap and Turn
DSCOF: Draw String Cast Off
COF: Cast Off
CC: Change Color
W: White
T: Tan
BOLB: Bring Original Loop Back

Head: 12 pegs: Flat: White:

Row 1-4: K
Row 5: K2, (Ear: K2 9rows BOLB) (Horn: CC G K2 9rows BOLB) (Horn 2: K2 9rows BOLB) (Ear 2: CC W K2 9rows BOLB) K2
Row 6-8: K
Row 9: D1 K1, D1 K1, D1 K1, K2, D1 K1, D1 K1, D1 K1 (8)
Row 10-13: K
DSCOF
Sew up snout, and close off that back of the head, and stuff.

Body: 12 Pegs: Circular: White:
Row 1-3: K
Row 4: P5 (Tail: K2 9rows BOLB) P5
Row 5-10: K
Row 11: K2, WT, K4, WT, K3, WT, K2, WT, K2, K3, K4, K5, K9
Row 12: Start working flat K12
Row 13: D1 K1, K8, D1 K1 (10)
Row 14: D1 K1, K6, D1 K1 (8)
Row 15-17: K
COF
Sew up neck, stuff through back end, close up back. Sew on head lining up back of head with tail.

Legs: 8 pegs: Circular: Tan:

Row 1: K
Row 2: P
Row 3: K
Row 4-10: CC W

Make 4. Close up bottom, and stuff. Sew on the legs same way you do the large size goat. Follow large goat video for helpful tips. Sew or glue on eyes and your done!!!

  1. Is there a way to do the horns on the mini goat so that they don't look exactly like the ears besides for the color? Is there a way to taper the horns? Or maybe increase and decrease the ears?
