How to Make a Quick Valentine Keychain

How to Make a Quick Valentine Keychain!!!

Supplies:

Photopaper
Printer
Wallet Size Prints
Foam Heart Stickers
Rhinestone Strips
Clear Packing Tape
Pen
Key Ring
Hole Punch
Scissors
Hot Glue and Glue Gun

All the supplies for this project short of the printer and glue gun can be gotten at a Dollar Tree making this project very cheap and easy to make. This is a project that can be touching to loved ones while taking little time to complete. Add other embellishments as desired. This is just a base line for you to start from.

Lets get started step by step.

Step One

Print out your wallet size images that you think will fit nicely in the hearts. I personally like to print several out at once.

Step Two

Take your image and place a foam heart sticker on the top to trace out the heart.

Step Three

Cut out your picture from the traced heart.

Step Four

Get your packing tape and cut you a 3 inch strip. Place over the picture.

Step Five

Cut the tape down to have a quarter of an inch of tape extending past the image. Then cut slits on the tape around the corners for easier application to the foam heart next.

Step Six

Take the paper off the back of the foam heart. Then place the picture onto the sticky part of the heart. Fold down tape edges to create a smooth edge.

Step Seven

Punch hole in the corner of the heart.

Step Eight

Take a strip of rhinestones and hot glue them around the edge of the heart.

Step Nine

Add your key ring onto the finished heart.

Step Ten

Now give it to someone you love.

How to Loom Knit the Fisherman Rib Stitch (Brioche)

How to Loom Knit the Fisherman Rib Stitch (Brioche Style Stitch)

This stitch is easy to create and makes a 1x1 rib stitch really pop in appearance. Follow the video and step by step instructions below to see just how simple it is.

K: Knit: Process of tossing the bottom loop over the top working yarn. Pulling in the center slightly before releasing stitch to keep stitch loose.
P: Purl: Process of pulling working yarn through the bottom of the stitch, then pulling off the original stitch and placing the loop you just made onto the peg.
SL: Slip: To skip the peg by taking the working yarn behind the peg to skip.

Row 1: K1, P1

Row 2: SL1, P1

Repeat the 2 rows set over and over.

How to Loom Knit a Paracord Cast On

How to Loom Knit a Paracord Cast On

Originated by Janae Yagi at Smitten Knittens

This  cast on is a genius cast on. I was wondering how to solve the cast on problem for the after thought heel when I was doing my sock study and I found her method of this doing a thumb hole to a fingerless glove. I knew that was the answer. Now I have used it one several sock techniques and also to add limbs on to stuffed animals with a seamless look. If you are designing or wanting to learn a new technique give this one a try it is well worth it.

Set Up: Slip knot and anchor the working yarn with it on a previous peg than what you are working. The Place the paracord in front of the first peg to be worked. Wrap the working yarn over the front peg and then follow steps one and two.
Step One: Send working yarn under your paracord then over.
Step Two: Send working yarn in front of next working peg.
Repeat steps one and two to desired amount of pegs.
